RSPCA West Dorset Branch Cats in Need of Homes

RSPCA West Dorset Branch is a separate charity affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). We cover the towns of Dorchester, Bridport, Weymouth, Portland, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sherborne and Axminster (Devon) as well as all the surrounding villages and hamlets. Our main priorities are the welfare and rehoming of local animals. We raise our funds within the Branch boundaries and all money raised is spent within the area. We are responsible for "Taylors Animal Rehoming Centre" at Kingston Maurward, Dorchester.

If you wish to report an Animal Emergency or have concerns regarding the welfare of an animal please telephone 0300 1234 999. Please also call this number if you need to have an unowned or wild animal collected by an RSPCA Animal Collection Officer.

	Hi our names are Cara, Laura and Lauren, and we are the Animal Care staff who look after the Cats and kittens at our Centre at Kingston Maurward. These are the animals in our care this week. Please give us a call 01305 259672 or visit the Centre at the above times if you are interested in any. We take in and rehome animals that other charities don't - such as older cats and cats with health issues, but we do rely on you to rehome them. So pop to the Centre you never know what is waiting to greet you! Our adoption fee for a cat or kitten is £70. This includes neutering of animals of 12 weeks or over, vaccination course and microchipping, as well as a vet check and parasite control.

Macie is a lovely sweet girl, she has had an operation on her left hip so struggles to jump too high. However a chair or some steps allows her to get where she wants to. Macie will need to be the only animal in the house, and would prefer an adult home or with older children. She is vaccinated, neutered and vaccinated.

Si is a lovely friendly boy who would need to be the only animal, he loves affection and is just a big softy. He is looking for a home with older children or adults only. Fred has a lump on his chin which has been tested and has proven to not be anything suspicious. He will always have a lump but it doesn't affect his eating at all. They are both lovely sweet cats who love affection and would need a home together, they do not like dogs and would prefer to be the only cats in the home. These brothers can be shy and timid but are getting braver every day, they will need to be rehomed together and be the only animals in the home. They are sweet and friendly boys when they get to know you. They are both vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.

She is also on the hypoallergenic food so as to prevent Shumba from eating her food. SHUMBA DMH Ginger female aged 6 yrs old. Shumba has had a few allergies and is currently on steroids for this, she will need to go to her new home whilst on them and slowly be weaned off them. She is also on a hypoallergenic food that she will need to carry on as well. She is a lovely sweet friendly girl who is affectionate. They are both neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
