| RSPCA West Dorset Branch is a separate charity affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA). We cover the towns of Dorchester, Bridport, Weymouth, Portland, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sherborne and Axminster (Devon) as well as all the surrounding villages and hamlets. Our main priorities are the welfare and rehoming of local animals. We raise our funds within the Branch boundaries and all money raised is spent within the area. We are responsible for "Taylors Animal Rehoming Centre" at Kingston Maurward, Dorchester. |
If you wish to report an Animal Emergency or have concerns regarding the welfare of an animal please telephone 0300 1234 999. Please also call this number if you need to have an unowned or wild animal collected by an RSPCA Animal Collection Officer. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US REGARDING EMERGENCIES OR CRUELTY AS THIS IS NOT THE MOST EFFICIENT WAY OF DEALING WITH SUCH MATTERS. CALL 0300 1234 999 AND REPORT THE MATTER TO THE RSPCA NATIONAL CALL CENTRE. RSPCA TAYLORS REHOMING CENTRE VIRTUAL 5K Fancy a challenge? You would get a beautiful medal whilst raising money for Taylors! We are doing a virtual race, you can run, swim or walk 5km (3 miles) at any time that suits you

You can pick whenever you want to do your 5k, then send us proof of the distance.
This can be done by downloading any free app on your phone that will measure your distance (just send us a screen shot), or you could get someone to witness your 5km and sign to say that you have completed it.
To enter you need to register on-line by emailing us and pay £15. You can pay via the PayPal link below, by card over the phone (please call us on 01305 259672), or by cheque posted to Taylors.
You can get extra sponsorship, there is a downloadable / printable form for sponsorship or you could set up your own 'Go Fund Me' page and ask you friends and family to sponsor you online.
When you have completed your 5km, send in your proof, along with your full name and address and we will post out your medal!
If you want to do your 5km in fancy dress or send pictures of you and your medal with your pet, we would love to share them on our Facebook page - please let us know if you are happy for us to do this.
