We will contact you following receipt of the form if the animal is still available and you may be able to provide a suitable home.

Due to the very large number of enquiries we receive, we are unable to reply if the animal is no longer available or not suited to your home.

Elise

ELISE DSH Tortie & White female aged approx. 14 months old.  Elise is a sweet girl who is very friendly and sweet. She could go to a family home and could be rehomed with another older cat if introduced correctly.

Jonny & Juno

JONNY DSH Ginger male aged 5 months old & JUNO DSH Tortie tabby aged 5 months old. Jonny & Juno were born at the centre and are now ready for their new home together. They could go to a quiet family home, they can be shy and timid if the home is too loud and busy. They also could go in a home with another older cat, however they do need to be rehomed together.

Kirin and Madison

KIRIN DSH Ginger male aged approx. 2yrs old & MADISON DSH Dark Tortie female aged approx. 2yrs old. Kirin and Madison are really sweet cats who can be shy initially but are loving and affectionate once they know you. They are looking for a quiet adult only home.

Kenya

KENYA DSH Grey & white male aged approx. 3-4yrs. Kenya is a sweet friendly boy who came to us after sadly being in an RTA. He suffered a fractured pelvis which has now healed, however this has left him with a small pelvic area so does mean he will need to be on some medication for the rest of his life which is a powder he has on his food twice a day. He could have a home with adults only or a family home with older children. He would need to be the only animal in the home.

Alex & Georgia

ALEX DSH White male aged 5 months old & GEORGIA DSH Tabby 7 White female aged 5 months old. These two lovely cats are looking for a special home together. Georgia has a heart murmur and Alex is deaf, therefore they will need a strict indoor only home. They absolutely adore each other and love to play, they really do depend on each other. They could go to a family with older children but they would need to be able to be safely kept indoors.

Brooklyn & Vic

BROOKLYN DSH Tabby female aged 7 months & VIC DSH Tabby female aged 7 months. Both girls can be shy and can be easily spooked. They would need to be rehomed together and in a quiet home with no small children. They will need a patient home with lots of time to settle and become comfortable.

 

Mable

DSH Tabby female aged approx. 2-3 yrs old. Mable is a sweet shy girl who will need a quiet, patient home where she can settle at her own pace and be left alone when she needs to be. Mable is very affectionate when she trusts you and is a sweet girl. She will need to be the only animal in the home within an adult only home.

Orca

ORCA DSH Black & White female aged approx 12 yrs old. Orca is a sweet friendly girl who is very affectionate and would love someone home most of the time. She currently is needing acupuncture for arthritis, this will need to be carried on which will be centre supported. If you would like more information then please contact us.

Ellie

ELLIE DSH Dark Tortie aged approx. 18 months old. Ellie is a sweet affectionate girl, she would love to have someone home throughout the days. She would suit a family home with older children.

 

Dusty - RESERVED

DSH Tabby & white female aged. approx 10yrs old. Dusty is a sweet friendly girl who can be quite independent when she wants to be. She will need to be the only animal in the home and in an adult only home.

Arthur

ARTHUR DMH Tabby male aged approx. 18 months old. Arthur is a shy boy but is a sweet affectionate boy once he is settled and knows you. He would suit a family home with older children.

Tully

TULLY DSH Black & White female aged approx. 4 months old. Tully is a shy sweet girl who would need an adult only home. She will need time to settle in, once she has she is an affectionate playful girl.

Lenny, Luna & Lily

LENNY DMH Black male aged approx. 5 months old, LUNA DMH Tortie point aged approx. 5 months old & LILY DMH Tortie female aged approx. 5 months old. This sibling group can be rehomed as a group of 3 or Lenny can go on his own with the 2 girls having to be rehomed together. Lenny is the more confident one whereas the 2 girls are cautious, however they are all very playful and sweet. They would need an adult only home.

 

Scarlett

Scarlett is a sweet, friendly, playful girl. She would need lots of time to play to use up her energy, she has had a previous leg injury which would need to be discussed before adoption. Scarlett would suit a home with teenage children or adults only. She would need to be the only animal in the home.

Pip

PIP DSH Black & White female aged approx. 6 months old. Pip is a sweet affectionate girl who would love a home with no other animals. She would need someone home throughout the day and could go to a family home.

Boris

 DSH Tabby male aged approx. 4yrs old.  Boris is to be the only animal in the home, he is a sweet boy who would need an adult only home. He would also need a semi rural home as he will want to explore his new home.

McGonagall and Snape

McGonagall DMH Tabby female & Snape DMH Tabby male both aged 5 months old. These young cats are very friendly and affectionate, they will need to be re-homed together where someone is home throughout some of the day. They would suit a family home with children aged 10+ with no other animals.

Rwanda

DSH tabby male aged approx. 3 - 4yrs old. Came to us with a fractured pelvis from an RTA which has now healed. He is a lovely friendly affectionate boy who would need an adult only home and would need to be the only animal.

Harper

 HARPER DSH Black female aged approx. 2-4yrs old. Harper is in need of a farm home. She will need regular feeding and shelter but she would prefer to not be close to humans, Harper would also love to have other cats around.

All of our cats are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped unless otherwise stated

Kittens too young to be neutered will be issued with a free neutering voucher

RSPCA West Dorset Branch is a separate charity affiliated to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA).  We cover the towns of Dorchester, Bridport, Weymouth, Portland, Lyme Regis, Charmouth, Sherborne and Axminster (Devon) and the surrounding villages.  Our priorities are the welfare and rehoming of local animals.  We raise our funds within the Branch boundaries and all money raised is spent within the area.  We are responsible for "Taylors Rehoming Centre" at Kingston Maurward, Dorchester.
